have you ever…

dreamt of someone you know, in flagrante delicto; doing things outrageous, naughty, and totally out of character for them? It’s just another strange dream for me, ‘cept I can’t look at this person without convulsing into fits of hysterical giggles and it’s driving him absolutely mad.

not to that extent, but i have dreamt of situations that were very out-of-character for me and the other party depicted. I’d let them into my home, and they were fixing me breakfast. I woke up, grabbed a weapon, and ran frenziedly around my lair, thinking there was some horrible person from my past in my kitchen making pancakes. Once I was sure I was alone, I went back to bed.

every so often they show back up in my dreams for a cameo, as if to say “I know where you sleep.”

the worst dreams are the ones that are exactly like a day at the office, not because my job is horrible (it isn’t – it’s actually rather pleasant) but because I feel like I put in many hours of overtime without getting paid for it.

You work, Dok? I can’t fathom what you do.

I’ve always been a big dreamer, it isn’t always a good thing. My most stressful and annoying dreams (recurrent, at least several times a month,) find me back in High School. I’m my real age and it’s been discovered that I didn’t really finish my requirements. I can’t remember my locker combination, I don’t know where the class rooms are but the most troubling is that I can not for the life of me remember my schedule. I don’t know where I’m supposed to be. Always lost. Always late. Always panicked. It sucks.

As for flagrante delicto… it happens far to often that I dream the most inappropriate things! The worst, dare I admit to this, was about my brother. Eeewwwwwwwwww.

oh ew! I think it would be wierd to dream stuff like that about my family or a boss; anything like that. maybe it would be funny about a boss… but I wouldn’t be able to stop laughing.

I have dreamt about the high school thing too. just about the requirements. i kind of did whatever i wanted in high school, schedule or not.

i have had wierd waitressing horror dreams ALOT, years and years after i “retired”. they suck!

Yes, i work. I am what they call a “Recovery Specialist,” a collections agent for a major bank in the eastern US.

I used to get nightmares about my pizza-shop days from many many years ago, but I finally managed to kill the right braincells and now that i barely remember those times, the nightmares have stopped.

I can relate on the high school dream/schedule thing–I have often had the dream where I’m back in HS as I am now– and the biggest problem I have is that I have no idea where I’m suposed to be–or what day of the week it is in relation to my schedule. It’s fairly recurring in some form or another–I’m headed to class and wondering which semester is this? Do I have science right now or art? Gym? Damn!…and then I run off to the priciples office to try to obtain a copy of my schedule. Weird–but I’m glad I’m not the only one =)

To petit–the thought that one day the kiddo will be reminiscing about bean brownies is such a funny one…I wonder what kind of college roommate she’ll make? Diet coke in the morning with that special first crack of the can sound? or the fresh sound of the tupperware lid off the bean brownies? It should be interesting =)

    puppycup:

i am sooo trying to walk the line of all things in moderation with her. it’s not always easy, mostly because of me; she’s the flexible one. i can’t have any candy or diet coke in the house and just avoid it. she’ll eat a healthy snack and munch a few gummy bears or candy corn, and it’s no worries. i’m thrilled that she prefers my homemade soups and treats though. i don’t have to fight her on anything regarding food. ok, i’m bragging, but she’s really absolutely everything i could ever want in a kid :>
